Biplane Rides

“We will take you high or low, fast or slow, anyway you want to go.”-Classic Aviation Rides Promoter

Be a barnstormer–we provide the helmet and goggles, you bring your sense of adventure and camera. Our 1929 New Standard D-25 was designed for passenger hopping by the great flying circuses of the 20s and 30s and is still thrilling riders of all ages.  Maintained to modern aircraft regulations, she is now a fixture of the mid-Hudson Valley summer skies, carrying up to four passengers per flight before and after the weekend airshows as well as on weekdays. Flights are approximately 15 minutes long, $75 per person, first come-first served and book up early on airshow days. We start flying at 10 AM and continue to dusk. Weekday rides are obtained by reservation and depend on pilot availability. We believe in safety first, so we reserve the right to cancel flights due to weather conditions or aircraft maintenance needs.
