The Piper Cub has been in production since 1937. Come visit as we celebrate 80 years of Mr. Piper and his Cubs. We will have multiple examples, new and old. A short field take off and landing competition is scheduled for 10am. We will also celebrate the life and times of the Aerodrome’s own Stan Segalla, a Cub pilot and the Aerodrome’s original Flying Farmer.
Museum and grounds open from 10am to 5pm. The show kicks off at 2pm with our vintage fashion show and car parade and then the flying begins at 2:30pm and goes until 4pm. The show highlights the Pioneer era before WWI, a WWI show teaser, and the Golden Age of Aviation in the ’20s and ’30s.
