The Famous Fokker Box Spar
An Elegant Solution–Light Weight–Very Strong.

Fokker Dr.I Triplanes have been the stars of our Air Show dogfights. In 1987, a Navy “Top Gun” flew Cole’s Warner powered Dr.I and crashed it. To complete the season, Cole purchased N220TP in Florida. He flew it to Old Rhinebeck, circling the Statue of Liberty on the last leg to the Aerodrome. It flew for the next 35 seasons. The years have taken a toll and the time has come to replace all three sets of wings. To help with the cost, we’re selling spar sections from the current wings. For a donation of $225, each comes newly varnished, with a section of fabric signed by one of the Triplane pilots, and a certificate of authenticity. Click Here to own part of a Triplane.
