A weekend of flying, education, and fun with Mike, one of the original Aerodrome kids. The first 25 kids get a free model to build and fly (later arrivals purchase at the Gift Shop.) Sit in one of our historic aircraft, talk with a pilot, ride in an antique car, get out on the field for the mass launch. One kid, each day, wins a Biplane Ride with the adult of his or her choice. Our Air Show is included. At Old Rhinebeck, Kids Fly!
Museum and grounds open from 10am to 5pm. The show kicks off at 2pm with our vintage fashion show and car parade and then the flying begins at 2:30pm and goes until 4pm. The show highlights the Pioneer era before WWI, a WWI show teaser, and the Golden Age of Aviation in the ’20s and ’30s.
