Homebuilt aircraft are as American as Apple Pie! Come see the grand daddy of all experimental/homebuilt aircraft as we celebrate the Pietenpol Aircamper and other flying flivvers of the 20’s & 30’s. First published in Modern Mechanix magazine in 1932, the Pietenpol design led the movement in low-cost and easy to fly light aircraft that could be built at home by the private pilot. Come enjoy the Aerodrome as we have multiple examples of this fine aircraft! Air shows both Saturday and Sunday 2pm – 4pm. Visit the museum for a weekend of flivvering fun!
