Come and see our History of Flight airshow from 2pm to 4pm and then enjoy an evening celebration of the Dawn of Aviation. The show kicks off at 2pm with our vintage fashion show and car parade and then the flying begins at 2:30pm. The show highlights the Pioneer era before WWI, a WWI show teaser, and the Golden Age of Aviation in the ’20s and ’30s.
Evening events will begin at 4:30pm in the Main Museum building with talks about our Pioneer aircraft. At 5:30pm there will be a talk on the airfield about our flying Pioneer aircraft, including our 1909 Bleriot, the oldest flying aircraft in the country. The Bleriot, 1910 Hanriot and 1911 Curtiss Model D will fly at 6:30pm and then the evening will end with a run up of one of our Rotary engines at 7:15pm.
Admission to the evening events will be $12 for adults, $8 for seniors, military and youth, under 6 are free.
