When Old Rhinebeck started we were all volunteers. In the early years, pilots, mechanics, ground crew–everyone–pitched in and, when times were good, got dinner after the air show on Cole.
If you have a passion for aviation, community service, or just like to have fun with good people, volunteering at Old Rhinebeck is for you. You don’t have to know anything about old airplanes, we’ll train you. And, it is not just about the collection and air shows. We need help in the Gift Shop, Office, Museum, and Outreach. We have a whole separate group of “car guys” for those with an automotive interest. Even the parking lot can be fun–our President, Mike DiGiacomio, started there greeting the guests.
For flight operations assistance, you must be at least 18. If you’re under 21, we’ll need your parent’s permission.
To apply, complete the form below and email to: [email protected] or mail to Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome Volunteers, PO Box 229, Rhinebeck, NY 12572. Please read the other materials below to be sure of having the best volunteer experience.
