Power Our Planes and People
Meet Jess! She’s the future of the Aerodrome and example of what your donations accomplish. Jess was enrolled in a high school aviation program when she heard about us, became a volunteer, and joined our Youth Program. Soon she was rebuilding airplanes, working the Rides Booth, soloing on her way to a pilot’s license, and going to Airframe and Powerplant school. She just passed her Airframe practical and now works on our restoration/maintenance team as her first full-time job. You should be as proud of her as we are-your generosity helps make the Youth Program possible.
We need your continued support. We lost 1/3 of our Air Shows, our primary source of income, to weather this year! We’ve never lost so many. That means we also lost Biplane Ride and Gift Shop sales. With so many projects underway, the winter will be difficult. Can we count on you to help? It’s easy–just go to the DONATION FORM, mail your donation to: Annual Appeal, Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome, PO Box 229, Rhinebeck, NY 1275, or scan the code:
Your donation could win you a Biplane or Stinson Detroiter Ride. Donations in the amount of $250-499 will be entered into a drawing for a Biplane Ride for 4 in our New Standard D25. Donations in the amount of $500 or more will be entered into a drawing for Luxury Rides for 4 in our 1927 Stinson Detroiter.
Here’s a project you’ll be helping to fund. The 1910 Hanriot is undergoing a complete overhaul. Here’s what the fuselage looks like in early October. It should fly, come spring ’24. Thanks for helping Power Our Planes and People.
