FAQs
- WHERE DO WE PARK?
- There is convenient, free parking near the Museum buildings, which house the static display collection, just across the street from the airfield.
- IS THERE FOOD ON SITE?
- We have a concessionaire on site on Saturdays and Sundays, open at 11am. Have lunch with us!
- WHERE DO WE SIT?
- There are bench and bleacher seats available. We also have a limited number of camp chairs available to rent for $5 each, available in the gift shop.
- WHAT CAN WE DO BEFORE THE SHOW?
- Go for a biplane ride (must be onsite to book)Play Selfie Bingo (available in the gift shop, no charge) and win a prize. Tour the MuseumSome show days have other activities before the show, check the calendar for more info.
- CAN WE RESERVE BIPLANE RIDES IN ADVANCE FOR THE SHOW?
- You must be on site to book your ride and they are first come first served. Rides are available before and after the air show weather permitting.
- ARE THERE RESTROOMS?
- Yes, we have family friendly, accessible restrooms with changing tables in our museum and next to our Gift Shop.
- WHAT TIME DO YOU OPEN?
- We open at 10am.
- WHAT TIME IS THE SHOW?
- Pre-show activity begins at 2 and the show runs until 4pm.
- ARE PETS WELCOME?
- Leashed and well behaved pets are welcome. Please note that we have very noisy airplanes, automobiles, and the occasional gunshot or explosion.
- IS THERE FLYING ON WEEKDAYS?
- No planned flying occurs on weekdays. The Museum is open and biplane rides are available (Call the office to schedule 845-752-3200) weather permitting.

A short ride from the New York City, the Capital District, and western MA and CT, We are in the middle of the historic Hudson Valley, minutes off either the Taconic Parkway or the NYS Thruway. Our GPS address is: Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome, 9 Norton Road, Red Hook, NY 12571. Fly-ins are by permission only. The field is challenging – call ahead for a briefing 845-752-3200 for a briefing and authorization. Coming from the City? Take the train to our planes–Amtrak stops at Rhinecliff–just a quick cab ride away.
